Roberto is an inspiring resident of Bahia de Lobos, Sonora, who loves fishing, playing the guitar, and spending time with friends. He generously volunteers with the Red Cross in his community during his free time. Roberto is motivated to gain a deeper understanding of marine ecosystems and develop personal and professional skills. He is eager to share his newfound knowledge with his community, particularly on how to preserve the marine flora and fauna. This is important as 95% of the community’s livelihood depends on fishing.
